Teenage girls found safe
(CNS): Police say that the two young girls who went missing after school yesterday have been found safe and well. Police issued an alert this morning regarding Kendra Bodden (16) and Gabriella Williams (17), both John Grey High School students and they have now confirmed the girls are safe but have not said what happened to them since they were last seen in the vicinity of Wendy’s on Walker’s Road on Wednesday lunchtime.

More and more this seems like a cry for attention. I hate to say one should punish someone when they are crying out for help but…these teenagers need to understand the effect that their irresponsible actions have.
I am relieved to hear that they are now safe but feel they should be reprimanded to serve an allotted amount of hours doing community service.
Back in the day one would not have even considered doing something like this because of the repercussion.
Taking the discipline out of homes and the school is having a back lash on the entire community.
Hopefully we can make amends before it is too late.
Glad to know that the two girls are safe. But if they were just hanging out with FRIENDS or only GODS KNOWS who while their family and friends were SCARED TO DEATH. The way this little Island has become I think they should both get a GOOD FLOGGING……………. Things can’t be that bad at home
Thank God they were found safe. But if i were the parents, i would now give them a punishment that they would never forgot.
I prayed and my prayers were answered today, I thank God for the protected care he acknowledged on these girls, with the temptations and the influences all around,there was a high chance you could have come out scaved or not even come out at all, regarding the shocking death of Sabrina, I would like to send my deepest thoughts and prayers for the family, and for Gabriella and Kendra, if something personal is bothering you, let someone know about it, and let God know about it, then if your comfotable,tell somone, thank you, glad to know you guys are safe.
Thank God they are safe and sound. However if they continue to remain silent about their activities after worrying friends and family I think these girls are in need of a proper, old time, butt whooping!!
They know all the recent events and need to learn to consider the consequences of their actions and the effect it has on others

I hope these girls had a very good and very valid reaason for disappearing and letting their parents and everyone else worry about them! I hope they held accountable for their act and that they are made known the seriousness of this! If they were mine, God have mercy, they would have a lot of explaining to do because I can guarantee you they wouldn’t be able to sit down for a couple days! this is becoming too common a habit with these young girls on this island!

Easter weekend is approaching and a lot of teenagers like to go camping so perhaps the girls are camping with friends but figured their parents would not allow them to so they just went without permission. Maybe parents should try to do more with their teenagers and built a stronger relationship with them. As a teenager, my mother and I have a very close relationship and she gives me her opinion on everything. Every girl/boy wants to be able to go to their mom or dad and tell them how they feel, tell them about their crush at school, and the number one thing; have trust in them! Parents need to build trust in their kids and allow them to socialize with friends outside of school. Keeping your child at home 24/7 will just make them rebel. I see it happen so much that it is unreal!! Now, I’m not saying allow them to go out everynight and come home at midnight. Set rules but at the same time give privleges. Example: If your child doesn’t have homework on a school night he/she could have a friend over until about 9. On the weekends they are allowed to go out ONE night: either Friday or Saturday and Sunday you can do something fun with them or that could be homework day.
Moms, maybe you could take some time and give your children some love, affection, AND attention. Some suggestions (since there is not much to do in Cayman): take the girls shopping (whether its to the grocery store or to Kirk Freeport), go to the surf park, the beach, go for lunch, take them to a movie, or go window shopping at Camana Bay (what could be more interesting)

GIrls, I pray you’re ok and encourage you to contact your families or the police or the Crisis Center or just someone. I pray you’re safe and not in danger or in harm’s way. Maybe you’re going through some rough times or maybe just rebelling a bit. While I don’t know either of you, I am worried for your safety because of recent events in the last 6 months. I hope you call someone soon, or go back home, or go somewhere else for help if that’s what’s best for you. Just know you have somewhere to go if it’s not home you want to go to right now, or if all’s ok at home I’m sure your family and friends are worried sick about you and want you to come home. There’s too many people out there who care for you and want you back safely.

Family, friends and community – lets work to gether as a village and find these two young girls. IF they are truly lost then maybe we can aid in their safe return and if they are just skipping home responcibilities it will also be goo to know they are safe. I think the county on a whole would be relieved. On the other hand they should be punished.

I pray to God these girls are ok! Everyone needs to be more responsible for their actions these days! Too many things are going wrong, so everyone just needs to be more careful and more responsible! And these girls are old enough to know better!!

I agrred with this comments the kids of today are not held accountable for there actions and today has cause a lot of un wanted stress on parents cause of the lack of accountability and punishment issues
