Who cares who does what.A good job by all concerned and hopefully when they catch the person responsible he/she will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. These types of incidents are taken VERY seriuosly these days.Again thanks to the people involved in securing the situation.

Some people on this island are so idle.

    Ooookkk! What next?

Are our Firemen really trained to deal with bombs?

    • Anonymous says:

Isn’t that the job of the police to deal with bombs?

      • Just U Wait says:

When people are not occupied and cant feed their family they become bored.  When they become bored they think, when they think they take action, which includes robbing, shooting, stealing, raping and caling bomb scares.  If by chance you can help some one today, do it.  It might add a star in your crown for tomorrow.

In fact there is very little evidence to link economic downturns to violent crime.  In fact the evidence is that there is generally a small reduction.

Picture this.  The Church is responsible for Cayman, not the Government.  So, If the church is not right, then Cayman will never be right.  But guess what, the Church is Me, and the Church is You.  So what do we do now to make it right?

            • Anonymous says:

The church has done nothing but hold Cayman back and destroy the fabric of society by instilling false realities and giving idiots an excuse to preach hatred and live lives of contradiction whilst blaming everybody else for thier misfortunes.

We tried the church method and it didn’t work. Now lets get a real government in to run things. It’s time for the UK to take direct control.

Thats a crock of horse shoot

How does calling a bomb scare or raping and murdering somebody help to feed your family. Thats is complete tosh and a completely ignorant response and typical of the lowlifes that are ruining the island. There is no excuse for raping and murdering or making bomb threats.

No its not. That person made a very valid point. He is not saying that it is an excuse to do the unspeakable but an oppertunity for the devil to use idle hands thats all.

          • Anonymous says:

I totally agree with you…the person that wrote  such a stupid remark…is probably the next one to make a call….idiots!!

        • Anonymous says:

They choose not to be occupied most likely..because they are lazy! It’s not a companies fault that they can’t feel their family…suck up their pride and go seek employment..BK…KFC…not just expats can work there…geeezzz!

        • When people are not occupied? well as I see it some of you are giving excuses why this type of behaviour should be tolerated, there is no excuse for laziness, idleness and plain stupidity. get up off your duff and find a job, there IS work out there, it may not be that white collar job that you want but the blue collar will put food on the table and keep a shelter over your head.

Dont sell yourselves short on this labelling, "I cant find a job" Your are in need you will work. This is insane what is happening here, too much all at one time,  to not think that it is orchestrated to sink this Island. Lord have mercy.

Bombs cause fire which the Police are not equipped to deal with.

    • Not Submitted says:

Sheesh, please engage brain before keyboard.  Do you think you should wait for a bomb to go off and THEN call the fire department?  Or would it be better to have them already on scene parked a block away….

      • Come on says:

Neither parking and wating or being ready on the scene is what we want.  People need to act resonsible and stop being idle and foolish.  If you are aggravated by someone, take the case to a higher being, one that will never fail you if you are right.  It always works, even if you have to wait six months.
