"and spoke with a Caymanian accent". One wonders how this was established. I mean, are we just to assume this is indeed the case? Seems a bit of astretch without knowing the details of how this "fact" was arrived at. Who claimed this? Was it a Caymanian (a real one) or one of our thousands of foreign workers? It's a fair question, surely.

    release on bail..LOL

why don't the police use a collateral and signature bonds man system, nah.. that would make too much sense.

RCIPS:  If you are going to release "suspects descriptions", would you please include "skin colour"?

Personally, I think next to being male or female, that would be the second most helpful  identification feature.

I dont understand this concept of having suspects and releasing on bail. Can't the police hold suspects for longer than 24 hours?

Same here: Can someone please explain how they can arrest and bail suspected robbers in one day? Excuse my ignorance, but I don't quite understand. Don't you either arrest someone on suspicion after speaking with them and hold them until they are charged (while investigation ongoing) for whatever amount of time the law prescribes, or don't arrest and charge them because you don't' have enough?

It suggests to me that the Director of Public Prosecutions is no satisfied the police have the evidence needed to successfully convict them in a court of law, at this time.
