Is it possible for Caymanians to be knighted or made Lords? There are many deserving Caymanians who should get such an honour, not just MBE, etc. They could start with our Premier and Mr. Scotland and all the other members of Government who have done so much for our islands.

Why would the UK bestow further honours upon those that oppose and incite animosity towards the motherland?  The UK should be stripping the honours already bestowed.

Remember Sir VasselJohnson? That's being knighted.

Rather than making fun and knocking these awards, I think you should realize that you can nominate someone.

Don't write about who should not get it. Rather nominate someone you think should.

I can tell you from experience there is a fair chance that individual may be awarded that honor.

    • Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE)

I read on the FCO's website that there are a record number of nominated Chagossians this year.

Apparently they want to extend the honours to include members of the animal kingdom.

I would like to nominate the people of the Cayman Islands for this.  We have sacraficed ourselves by having McKeeva in office and patience of Job is our achievement.

This is great but Cayman is about 3 years overdue for another CBE.  There must be someone worth nominating.  And please not another permanent secretary……………………

How about stripping UK adversaries of their OBE and MBEs?  Reduce Reuse Recycle!

Sorry Gov, I will be applying for the Premier's Awards. The standards are much lower and they come with free solar panels, a new fridge, and a 50-year interest-free mortgage from Dart.

How do you hope to top that?
