Imagine being in a shop where an armed robbery took place and not giving a statement to the police. That would not happen in any other country.

Then again in any other country the cops would look at the CCTV footage to get the licence plates of the cars in the forecourt and find out who used their debit/ credit card in the store, or even check to see who's mobile phones where in the area and then come and knock on your door.

Here they just fill out a couple of forms and throw them on the "unsolved robberies" pile back at the station and get back to BBMing their baby mommas.

My advice to the official police would be to ask the witnesses if they observed the robber removing his boots and placing them on the counter.

What? People in Cayman not talking to the police – it's unheard of! The RCIP should be held accountable for this!
