BT passes half-way point

| 23/05/2013

(CNS): Anthony Eden was still leading the tally in the district of Bodden Town when the count passed the half way mark. The PPM incumbent had 1104 votes and his party colleague Ozzie Bodden was almost certain of being returned to the LA after losing his seat by a narrow margin in 2009 with 971 votes. Wayne Panton was also looking secure in third place with 944 votes while the UDP's Theresa Pitcairn was clinging on to the fourth place with 842 votes just two votes ahead of Al Suckoo who was well ahead of Charles Clifford who had 761 votes. With just three boxes left in Bodden town the PPM were still within striking distance of a clean sweep.
