Tax havens here to stay
(The Guardian): The British media is now in moving-on mode on the issue of tax havens. It would do well to pause, be less excitable about the pantomime of brand shaming and actually examine the depth to which tax havenry is hardwired into our economic model and columns of state. Among the millions of column inches generated in the past two years on this issue, three words you will not find in sequential order are "City of London".
Extraordinary, when one considers the critical advantage our tax haven network offers the preponderance of offshore lawyers and accountants that cluster the Square Mile, siphoning off the rewards of capital flight. And that network that is growing, not receding.

Isn't it true that Wilmington, Delaware , USA is now the new tax shelter. Where there is now over 85,000 companies registered in a one story building with the same laws and standards and procedure like Cayman? Isn't it time Cayman and all the other islands in the caribbean be told the truth. That what's good for the goose is good for the gander? This countries banking system is how governments of the world send money to these islands and use it as"plausible deniability", isn't that true?
Why don't all the countries of the world just have a flat tax? Then all the money will go back to their respective countries. End of all their problems.As adoctor looking at a fat man telling him you going to die. He would say to his patient stop smoking eat properly exercise regularly etc etc.
Likewise to all the countries of the world stop ridiculous spending ,corruption and defence spending . Protect peoples jobs and pensions and they will have enough money to run their countries.
The money laundering capital of the world is New york city. The Russian mob laundered 10 billion dollars in one transaction to the Bank of New York.One person was fired? The russian gov't had to sue the USA gov't and got back 7.5 billion. Please remind Obama about that and tell him ," those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones"

I think the post you object to was referring to the original viewpoint/commentary/whatever and not the post you say has merit (something I agree with). Check the dates and times.
