Sadly, there are conflicting reports then – I have heard from several different sources that she was in fact speeding. Although who knows for certain as none of us were behind the wheel with her, and I am not God so in no way do I intend to judge/condemn her – for speeding or not. It was an accident and regardless of whether she was or was not speeding it has happened and she is gone.

I do offer my sincere condolences to her family and friends at this most tragic time. May God bless you all with the strength and courage that you need at this present time, and may her soul eternally rest in peace.

Twyla, you ARE talking nonsense, and have given me quite a laugh dear heart. I have lived in North Side and driven North Side, East End, Breakers & Bodden Town roads for over 29 years now, and no mysterious dark evil forces lurk on any of those roads, PERIOD. Perhaps I should drive around with rosary beads and a bottle of holy water just to get to work and back each day, if that was the case? Or perhaps you are referring to the thousands of tiny non-evil-nor-mysterious "red chinks" that crawl out of their crab holes at night, merely to cross the road??? I do agree with you that – we should take care when driving on *ANY* of our roads – but to pin point a specific area on this island as possessing dark mysterious evil forces is just plain WACKO!  Sorry! Accidents have happened all over this island, and many of them are just that – accidents. Some are caused by speeding, racing, wreckless driving, arguing while driving, DUI etc etc ETC.

Let the investigators do their job and we shall see what caused the accident. Everyone is speculating at this stage. it’s a bit unusual for a car going at 30mph would end up in a light pole. There are a lot of questions here in terms of understanding how this happened.

Also, I see a corner’s inquest in today’s paper – why do these investigations take so long? The car accident happend over 2 years ago and the in quest was just held.

This response is to the poor FOOL whose intelligence could only allow them to write "the drivers need to stop speeding on our roads". This ignorant degenerate needs to return to the hole they came from. Have mercy on your idle soul. For your information (that i doubt you can even easily process), It was reported by a witness that they were driving at about 30!

My heart goes out to our family and all the families who have lost a loved one in a tragic freek accident. God bless all those who helped, and if anyone has anymore information, please come forward.

      Michele,

That was a totally over the top response. "Degenerate"?!! Please try to be civil. The article did refer to another incident where speed was suspected to have been a factor.

NB. I was not the person who posted the message you found so offensive.

    ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST

What else can anyone say concerning these accidents.  However , whether anyone wants to believe my story or not. "There is an evil force along that road, and many people will nod their head at this,  between breakers and East End.  Do a survey on the many accidents, the irieness of the accidents, the unexplained causes and results of accidents on that road.  It seems as if once you go over 25 miles per hour, on that road, some unforseen mystery takes place and just grabs your car out of control..  Check this out with accident statistic and you will see that  am speaking truth.

One day a young man told me about an  incient where he was travelling behind a car on that road doing anormal speed, and all of a sudden the car in front of him took off like a bullit, as if some force had pulled it away out of his sight.  By the time he got around the corner the car was spinning out of control, had hit a pole, a grape tree and it was unbeliveable what he saw.  Of course the driver did not die because this other person driving behind quickly jumped out of his car and assisted before the car could explode. Other incidents of car catching fire and the persons are unable to get out, and water cant out the blaze.  Too much stories to be told about that road.

Something is wrong.  It is very little we know about life and what is out there, so I say drive carefully, tread softly, and be careful about where you go.  Life  is a big mysterious and real world out there, and what we know is only a drop in the bucket.  Be safe this Christmas.
