Praises and Glory be to God that our Investigating Officers have found enough evidence to charge the murderer of our own "DJ Jazzy B" (Sherman A. Bodden)for his tragic and untimely death.

I am appalled that this has happened one more time in our Island and to another fellow Caymanian.  As the saying goes  "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth".  Then, should we not have the DEATH PENALTY served as PENALTY or JUSTICE to murderers for their gruesome/hideous/tragic/fatal killings?  Wouldn’t this be a harsh penalty that aligns with the crime?  Instead, of a slap on the wrist by housing them in our prison (HOTEL CALIFORNIA) at our expense, we could put this money to much better use for things that the good people of our Islands can make benefit of.

I wonder who will be our next Victim and who will be the next KILLER?   Hopefully, with God’s help it wouldn’t be any of our family, friends or loved ones.  Let us pray that the "DEATH PENALTY" be introduced before long, so that the minds of other KILLERS have something worthwhile to think about before they take another’s life.

As for Human Rights (Sherman) were a living being until his life was taken tragically, so didn’t he have HUMAN RIGHTS too?  Or in such a case do HUMAN RIGHTS protect only the KILLERS?

My sincere condolences are extended to all of his family, friends, coworkers and loved ones.  He will be greatly missed by many in OUR Islands.  May his soul rest in peace and justice be served.

"Can you confirm if Police did in fact locate same, why the charge has been placed on this individudal or a confession to the crime made?"

Seems pretty obvious that there was an eyewitness to the crime.

CNS the last official update on this was that the "murder weapon" could not be located.  Can you confirm if Police did in fact locate same, why the charge has been placed on this individudal or a confession to the crime made?

CNS: The police say they can’t comment on the evidence at this time. However, they note that a brief summary of facts will be given in court when he appears.
