Turks and Caicos corruption report with Governor

| 03/06/2009

(Caribbean360.com): The final report of Britain’s probe into corruption in the Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI) has been completed and handed to the Governor Gordon Wetherell. But it won’t be made public until month end. The report is expected to support the recommendations made in the interim report to suspend the Constitution in the British Overseas Territory for two years and have the United Kingdom (UK) impose direct rule.

I can’t get over our country being lead by people who don’t respect the law but if you can then I really feel sorry for you.  I am not an angry PPM supporter but instead a disappointed and concerned Caymanian.  As for the rumors, you know well that UDP has created many of their own and they are just that, rumors.  May God bless these islands for us all!  I am really over the party politics and just want what is best for our country.

Here we go starting this constitution thing again.  CHALLENGE IT THEN OR SHUT UP!!!!  I voted in BT for the two guys not because I was UDP but because I really wanted the losers in PPM out!!  And I voted for them before!!  Gov and AG didn’t do the PPM’s work and now all they do is sit back and write about it on this site and talk about it on the talk shows and say antagonistic things about everything and everybody that didn’t support them.  You can’t hide your spite.  Up to last Sunday at Rum Point some former PPM candidates were going on about how McKeeva was going to give status to everybody that wants it.  Overheard it with my two ears, and you know who you are.  Get a life and stop spreading lies out of spite.  The more you go on about this the more people start seeing your true colours and I thank myself for voting you out!

How do you know these are lies? He did it once, didn’t he and like the Pied Piper he has got a lot of expats following him for some reason.

There’s still time to challenge and it is a free country (at least we hope so now that the UDP is in power) so we can talk about it as long as we like.
