Cayman’s Selita on Victoria’s Secret runway
(CaribWorldNews): The Caribbean was last night again represented in the popular Victoria`s Secret fashion show as Cayman Islands-born model, Selita Ebanks, took the runway. Ebanks was one of only two black models to grace the catwalk of the annual show but showed elegance and sex appeal as always. She was all the rage in a sequined and feathered white corset top and matching panties as a purple train flowed behind her on the catwalk in a design that definitely showed her regal good looks. Ebanks also looked like a well wrapped Christmas present early on in the show as she rocked a white body hugging corset lingerie wrapped in gold trim.

Get a grip and stop being a hater!!!!
Selita continue to work that runway and rock those clothes. you are a beautiful person inside and out.
Way to go Caymanian gal !!! We are real proud of your accomplishments.
Keep shining, moving forward and never look back.
We hope one day you will make it big as Naomi Campbell or Tyra Banks.
Well done for being tall and extremely good looking.
Why do so many posters write that Caymanians have no where to go? Thanks for showing them wrong Selita.
Look, there are zillions of beautiful ladies out there, but only a select few have it all: l
Looks, aura, presentation, personality, etc.
I guess that each country has to be proud of something. I find it ironic as "Christian" country that won’t accept people being openly gay that you don’t have a problem with Selita or her…well "model" comments.
"Selita Ebanks, another Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show veteran, said she was used to it all by now. "It’s like, if a boob pops out, it’s no biggie," she said."
"Enough with the "Oh, I just breast-fed my newborn and dropped 40 pounds" and more of the "people don’t realize that there are about 20 layers of makeup on my butt alone."
Which, is a direct quote from Ebanks to the New York Daily News about the efforts to create this perfect illusion."

Poster, you sound jealous of Selita. She is a beautiful young woman who has come a long way. Can’t imagine anyone not feeling happy for her right now.
Selita- you look absolutely stunning. Look forward to your next visit home.
As a Caymanian I am feeling mighty proud of you. You are our international ambassador, so continue to do the right thing.
You may have some valid points re. the Christian country bit and hating the gays, etc…but, i miss your reason for attaching those pics. other than to try and show that she may not be as "beautiful"…well, fact is, she is much more beautiful "as is" than when all made up…
She is physically beautiful no doubt about that, probably even one of the more beautiful models there that night. I don’t want to take away from her physical beauty.
The point in posting the pictures was to allude to the fact that "Christian" values is so often touted in Cayman, yet the pictures may not show these "Christian’ values, but every Caymanian is proud they are represented by Selita.
What a mean-spirited person.
Selita’s great.
but she’s been in the U.S. seven years now, won’t they kick her out soon?
She hasn’t been working that long, so her permit is still good. Then she can follow the process and apply for residency, then wait to see if she receives it. Then again maybe a parent is already a US citizen.
Why, are the concerned about being swamped by Caymanians? LOL!
Actually, she was one of three.
Selita – that is our Caymanian Queen from Walkers Road who has made all of Cayman proud. Keep it up Selita!
I as a Caymanian have to say Selita made me feel very Proud to have one of our own repersenting on that stage. Selita you worked that stage keep up the good work and dont forget where you come from.
