CAL expands reservations and ticket office hours
CNS): Cayman Airways has extended the business hours for its Reservations Call Center and Ticket Office in George Town as part of its commitment to expanding and improving service to customers. Effective immediately, the Call Center for Cayman Airways Reservations is open from 7am-9pm daily, and the new hours for the Ticket Office on Owen Roberts Drive will be 8am-6pm Monday through Friday, and 8:30am to 4:30pm on Saturdays.
Eliminating the varied hours for weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays, customers can now reach a Cayman Airways reservations agent via telephone from 7am to 9pm every day of the week, according to a release from CAL. Additionally, the new Reservations Call Center hours adds an extra hour in the mornings and 3-4 hours in the evenings for customers to book flights or make changes to their existing reservations.
Similarly, the new ticket office hours gives customers an additional half hour in the mornings and an extra hour in the evenings on weekdays for walk-in ticket service. On Saturdays customers can now see ticket agents 30 minutes earlier in the mornings and 30 minutes later in the evenings. The ticket office will still be closed on Sundays and public holidays.
Cayman Airways Acting CEO Fabian Whorms said, “Cayman Airways is currently focused on improving all aspects of service delivery, and we are so very excited about these expanded hours of service which provide our customers more time and flexibility to make their travel arrangements.”

IF you would reduce the ticket prices more of us could use your new hours!!! When will Cayman Airlines understand that if fares were priced like other airlines you will sell more tickets. How simple can it be, more air travel tourists means more money for our islands. Think of the jobs and what the tourists spend. Wake up government!! Drop the fares so your "Caymanian Owned Airlines" can start supporting itself and the people’s money can go for more important projects. A full airlplane with affordable ticket prices is better than a partial full plane with $$S tickets. Cost is the same to fly it full or empty!! The airline companies in the states are doing it right. Compete for business by reducing the fares and fill the flights. The Cayman Islands do not know what Competiton is all about that is why your tourist business is struggling. Just look at other wonderful island get aways and you can see why we have such a drop in our airline travel tourists. Cruise ship tourists , forget them they real do not spend that much unlike stay overs. Face it the only way to be a stay over tourist is to fly so drop those fares we need the money!!
You could open 24 hours per day seven days a week, as long as I cant purchase on line with my credit card like I used to your longer hours mean nothing to me, thats why I presently give all my travel business to American Airlines.
You can’t even book online without inputting a fake US Zip code! Says it all.
The airline implemented a temporary restriction against credit card holders being able to purchase tickets online unless they were travelling as well (no third party purchases).
That restriction, which was to help combat a sharp rise in credit card fraud, has now been lifted and you can purchase online as normal.
About time! I was wondering why the heck the call center had such limited operating hours!
As cheap as call centers are to operate I never understood that.
