guys face reality, the fight was at 4:00 in the morning. Are you tellingme that at that time that many people were at the same place??
yes I do blame parents (no child of mine is or will be at that time on the road) and police (people gathering so late… something is wrong)
no hard working, respected person "hang" at that time on the streets, only that is a good reason to be stop by the RCIP
They were all adults. Cayman is no different from anywhere else in the world where night clubs open until 3 or 4 in the morning. Wake up and smell the roses. Never swear for your children and stop pointing fingers it might turn around bite you.
Get Well Blue Knob. Be strong we miss that goffy personality. People come forward please.
I suggested something, CNS, which you failed to print. When the streets were suddenly freed of crime late March and April, something else was going on. It’s like, I clean up house before my mom comes over. You completely dismissed the notion. It is what it is.
To all those who are squawking about the RCIPS doing nothing Take a good look at the Police service, You all know what time it is. Suck it up and shut up. There have been a number situations an occasions i have personally witnessed where preferential treatment has been given to others. Yes Cayman the age old excuse of favouritism they have used to judge Caymanians and seek to employ non Caymanians has now become both hypocritical and painfully unfair. They did not do this on their own and in most instances this displacement and disposition of our own people was supported and condoned by our very own Caymanians at the top. Now we are being murdered and attacked and in the minority when it comes to say and influence in Cayman in general. Cayman the great experiment is overwhelming is it not? I will leave you with this Cayman had the roles been reversed do you honestly think or believe we would have given the same privileges and rights in their countries, think again.
Several witnesses to this incident said that the young man that was stabbled and others were "teasing" or otherwise "provoking" the guy that stabbed him.
In this case, there was a dispute where a young woman’s ‘honour’ was being defended, and it quickly escalated into a mob type altercation. The police were on the scene and did nothing to quell the unrest. As with most mob situations, emotions ran high, and rational thinking went out of the window. The ‘Jamaican National’ (and friends) in question tried to get away in his mother’s car (that was destroyed in the melee) and was detained by a mob of young men that beat, kicked and punched at the car. If he truly wanted he could have run them all over. The police are AWARE of this as they were right there.
I am by NO MEANS saying that either party involved in this rucus was correct, but why did the police sit there and do nothing as the car was surrounded and attacked? My thoughts are with both familes right now, and I hope that the young man pulls through. Where oh where has innocent youth gone?
Why has he not been charged?? No wittnesses?? What a mess.
That is what I was thinking… the police saw the whole thing and he has not been charged?
As usual the police and the Cayman Descendants Society must run DNA tests and background checks to see if either party are related in some way to a Cayman family that may now, or at sometime in the past, or may at sometime in the future have held a position of influence in government, the Civil Service Association, Taxi Drivers Association, or had dinner at the Grand Old House, played dominoes at Sunset House or Welly’s, ever been seen in the vicinity of Dartland, etc, etc
And this is just to see if a name may ever be released, let alone charged with a crime.
And what about the ‘gang’ who vandalized the car if that in fact happened?
And what about all the families of that many delinquents that are gathered at the same place, at the same time, all so innocently. Did they all know where their children were?
I hoping and praying that this young man will have a full recovery. However if i was his parents of this child God have mercy on the RCIP I would suethere you no what. The police was call to this scene for a reason and they didnt handle the situation as they should have and as a result of this this young man could have lost his life or who knows what condition he will be left in due to this .When is it that these officers going to start doing there job instead of handing out tickets are they getting paid commission on each ticket that they give out.
You’d sue the police because your son picked a fight with the wrong gang of hoods?
You must have more money than sense if you’d waste money on such a hopeless case.
Funny how you know so much about the situation despite ‘as usual’ there being no witnesses.
he was not picking a fight, get your facts right first…that’s all.
You know what? Bottom line goes something like this….
Victim stabbed was helping defend the honor of someone he knew.
Police stood by and watched the entire thing happen.
Victim nearly bled to death waiting for an ambulance which took approximately 30-45 minutes.
Victim has been flown off to florida for futher treatment and is not doing as well as we hoped he would be.
This is not at all about pointing fingers but if we can’t depend on our law enforcement to keep simple order and civility then what are they being paid to do.???? To give only speeding tickets and tear off some tint???
This isn’t about pointing fingers but we must address the key points of the situation which are simple and in our faces!!!!!
God help us all.
So please explain why there is not swift justice and just charge the man, seem there were plenty of wittness’ so what’s the old up.?
Usual story. Despite there being loads of people watching the fight ‘nobody saw nuthin’
You people are so sad. You are ruining your island by letting the scumbags get away with their crimes and pretending you didn’t see anything.
