A Prayer Meeting in the town square… that’s what Mac did last time. I knew he did something about crime once! That was a long time ago, but that was it.

We need another prayer meeting, to pray that Mac goes out of office before all hope is extinguished. Wait, sorry – that was a long time ago too. There’s no point anymore….

Obviously he was being scoped and they new his habits. Next time get a safe and leave it at work or do your banking in the day and deposit it. All these robberies happening but… oh it can never happen to me arrogance.

I agree with what you say, but I have to remind you that tourists have already been robbed here, and news of the killings isn’t hard to find in the travel literature about Cayman.

So much promise, sold for so little. It didn’t have to be this way, but West bay sold us to Bush for a round of new washing machines.

Answers: (1) Never, and there’d be no point if he did. Talk talk talk gets nowhere, especially when what is said can’t be trusted. (2) He’s goingto do what he always does: nothing, followed by another international trip on Cayman’s dime, followed by more nothing. Same as always you know – it’s what West Bay voters sold Cayman to. (3) No, he doesn’t.

A “statement on crime”. And that will do what? Disuade some thugs that do a grab and run?

There is no easy answer to crime, anywhere. Whether Mac or Kurt or others are in place, makes no difference to the micro decisions by a coupe of thugs that grab and run, with no witnesses. You cant legislate morality.

Easy to see who “is atfault”? Must be a political jab, but make no mistake, THE ones at FAULT are the individuals that committed the crime.

You are mistaken.  But I understand.  You have been "lead" to this Path by?

      1. The chinese.

      2. Expats.

      3. Your leadership.

      Pick one.

Another day another robbery at gunpoint.  Cayman has a large group of poorly educated, umemployables that have been raised to believe "others" are there to prey on.  and there are more every day.  With nothing being done to solve the problem by the overintitiled leading class it is what should be expected.  There is no cure,  there is no "hope" for the future.  This is and will continue to be the new Caymankind.  The robbing and killing of a tourist or group of tourist will come with the expected downfall of tourism.  The gated communities, slum areas, and general breakdown of working comunities have already started.  Easy for everyone to see where Cayman is going.  Easy to see who is at fault.

Considering as you say they are poorly educated they sure are making all of the police force including those from the UK look bad.

By the way why are you assuming that they are Caymanians or poorly educated?

When will our leader make a statement on crime? What is he going to do? Does he care?
