He was released on police bail pending further inquires,” the spokesperson from the TCI governor’s office stated. The investigation which is said to have cost around $17.5million so far and included several charges against four former government ministers and the islands investors.

The investigators have reportedly recovered funds during the probe from unpaid Crown land leases, underpaid stamp duty for land transfers, civil settlements of criminal charges, and recovery of Crown land that was illegally leased or granted.

This is very good news, & I know it has a few "big shots" in Cayman shaking in their boots! I hope they keep arresting more because the more they arrest the closer the investigators will be getting to those in Cayman! Boom Bam Shazaaaam! Hush Nah!

Saying, "Who is without sin, cast the first stone." In other words, there is more bribery, fraud and corruption in the UK than there is in Turks and Caicos Islands. The evidence is surmounting. No really… if we really want to change the world, force, arbitrary measures, and longterm investigations, amounting to millions of taxpayers money, is not a powerful solution. You have to change what is outside of you by changing what is from the inside. You have to change yourself first as an examplar and such influence is a powerful persuasion. The UK will do well and accomplish much more, I feel, if it changes certain of its foreign policies.

So are you sinless?  Because you sure are chucking a lot of stones at the UK.

So Star,in other words you saying: let the Overseas Territories Leaders and Government officials, committ corruption and accept bribes etc. because that is what is taking place within the British Government. Please! We dont care how the British handle there own problems, but we want all our corrupted Leaders and Officials brought to justice, FULL STOP!!!!!!

At least the TCI  SIPT is making headwayswith their investigations.  We are not that lucky here, because the investigations have been put into a black bag and light cannot reach it,  where it has been hidden.   I am hoping the day will come when those people in high places will be like Humpty Dumpty.

Our Crown land is being given away and nothing is being done about it.  It is time for Caymainans to wake up and do something about it, because it could only happen in the Cayman Islands.
