New focus at DER to boost workforce skills

ranglinjobs (233x300).jpg(CNS Business): Changes at the Cayman Islands government’s Department of Employment Relations will eventually lead to Caymanians being better equipped with the skills to fulfil the needs of local business the minister responsible for employment said Friday. Rolston Anglin said that his government understood that education was but part of the process and that the most important learning experience “happened on the job” as he announced a new focus on giving those already in employment the additional training they needed to succeed further within their organization . He said this would create a workforce with the right attitude, work ethic and skills making a positive contribution to the private sector and the economy as a whole. Read more on CNS Business
