Broken water main on Shedden Road
(CNS): The Water Authority has reported a broken main on Shedden Road, near the Anderson Square.Repairs are expected to take between 4 to 5 hours to complete, during which time service will be interrupted for customers located on Shedden Rd, from the McDonald Restaurant to the junction of Harbour Drive. Motorists are asked to note that the section of Shedden Road in the area of Anderson Square will be reduced to one lane in order to accommodate the necessary repairs. Motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route where possible. Traffic signs will be posted in the general vicinity and all are asked to drive with caution.
The Water Authority appreciates the patience and understanding of the motoring public as they continue to provide services to all of their valued customers and apologizes for any inconvenience this restoration may cause.

If only our water was as clean as the pic. Try and loosen your nozzle from your hose and, if you can, you will see the calcium build up. Now imagine, this water is supposed to be drinkable – but you try drinking that over the years and see what happens to you.
I do hope the water authority do a nice clean job of cleaning and repair when they are finished in fron of the Anderson square Building where the water main is broken.
Because they completed such a poor nasty sloppy, unfinished job on Cumber Avenue when a water main was broken there. Until this moment the chiped tar stones are sill being scattered around the road and the patched up place is slowly sinking in. What a disgraceful nasty sloppy job that was done. They only took a few showels of mixed tar and gravel and threw over the spot, and did not even spend the time to roll and pressed it down in a decent way.
But this is the things that these companies do to poor people, but they spend hours and lots of money beautifying Upscale areas. Such a waste of employment staff.
The entire section of Shedden Road to the harbour front needs re paving and before doing so replace the water pipes!
They should put in the other two lanes of the Esterley Tibbetts Highway between Camana Bay and Butterfield roundabout before any other paving is done in these islands.
