Miller takes Bush on over Dart-NRA Agreement

| 12/07/2012

ezz talking.JPG(CNS): Updated with full speech — Now in possession of the full agreement that the government and the National Roads Authority has signed with Dart Reality regarding the West Bay road elements of the ForCayman Alliance, Ezzard Miller says that when the people of Cayman see it they will be very angry with the premier. Following McKeeva Bush’s criticism of Miller in a statement broadcast on Radio Cayman on Tuesday evening for exposing part of the deal “out of context”, the North Side MLA will also be using government radio this evening to hit back and reveal more about the deal, which he says is so bad the premier can’t possible have read it.

In a statement to be broadcast after the 6pm news on Radio Cayman (Thursday 12 July) the independent member questions why the review from PricewaterhouseCoopers has not been shown to the public and why the premier did not want the people to see the whole agreement until it is too late.

Miller will point out in his own statement to the people about this deal that Bush has failed to defend the fact that he and his fellow members of the UDP have negotiated such a bad deal for the people of the Cayman Islands and instead attempted to shoot the messenger.

Although Bush has said the agreement is subject to change on completion of the review by PricewaterhouseCoopers, a document which is several months overdue, Miller points out that the deal the government and the NRA has signed is a stand-alone agreement and unless there has been an addendum to it, the timeline for changes is well past.

Check back to CNS later this evening for Miller’s full statement and the complete Dart agreement.

PPM your Silence is deadly!  McKeeva dunno what you are planning for him. He figures that he has DART and Dynomite, so he think he can Dictate! You wait until July 18, when we ALL vote "YES" to change his direction and change his mindset. You wait!  Seeing this man on a platform is like a caged fighter with no brains. He acts worse than a 5years old boy.

    Thank you Ezzard!

Without the member from North Side (Independent member)…Cayman would have practically no opposition or transparency occurring.

Causes me to conclude that while the PPM is the lesser of the two evils, as polical parties goes, both have and are complicent in making things worse rather than better in Cayman.

You know, when I think about it, Ezzard Miller, whether I agree with his views or not, is a bloody good politician compared to all the rest.

I wish Arden and Chuckie would join Ezzard now and launch a full scale attack on Mac. He couldn't survive that politically and would have to step down now.

Thank God for Ezzard. Without him there would be no opposition. The PPM is gutless and completely ineffective and incompetent !!! The Leader is virtually the same as before just a different name. Sad.

  9. Knot S Smart says:

    Get him Ezzard! or

Get Them for covering up what they have done!

Show the people and especially those prominent businessmen from the society who got up on their platform last election – what harm they have brought upon the people of Cayman – by their endorsement of the UDP group.

XXXXX – Why are you all 'quieter than a whore in church' at this time?

Keep up the pressure Mr. Miller. The Premier has got to resign.

By the way, is the leader of the opposition at all interested in this matter????????

Fire Ready Aim in action – that is of course if we assume that the Premier even cares about what is good for the country.

I took a look at the Constitution that sets out the duties and authorities of the Cabinet Secretary. Nowhere is it even suggested that the Cabinet Secretary has authority to sign a deal like this. Just another question to be answered.

Thanks Mr. Miller for keeping us informed.  Imagine this should had been revealed to the people long beforehand.  Strange bedfellas Dart, ForCayman Alliance and UDP! Their goal is to own Cayman, push the Caymanians in segregated corners(suppression) and bring back the slavery mentality.  The Master and his slaves.  That was suppose to have been abolished long ago, but its still well and alive here in the Caymans. These 3 amigoes are making Cayman a welfare state, if someone is in need, all they have to do is come to daddy for help. real sugar daddies, real Mafia and real body and mind controsl.  My  fellow decent Caymanians please wake up and vote YES for OMOV to cap this injustice on US.
