fire 5.11.12.jpg(CNS): A fire which broke out in a trailer on Elgin Avenue at the entrance to Cricket Square around 8.00am this morning caused traffic tailbacks and congestion during the morning commute. Police said that they had received a report that a trailer that was being towed by an Isuzu truck along Elgin Avenue towards Thomas Russell Way had caught fire. Emergency services attended the scene and the fire was extinguished. No-one was injured and no damage was caused to any property other than the trailer, a police spokesperson confirmed.
