Police make arrest over imitation gun

(CNS): In a short release on Sunday, a spokesperson for the RCIPS said that a 35-year-old man was in custody in connection with an imitation gun. The arrest on suspicion of possession of an imitation firearm was made on Friday 13 September, around 10:25pm during a police raid by officers of the Operational Support Unit (OSU) in the Eastern Districts. Police did not say if they had recovered a weapon or exactly where the arrest took place but said that the man was still in police custody Sunday as the investigation continued.
