Man arrested following George Town blaze
(CNS): The Cayman Islands Fire Services has successfully extinguished a blaze which occurred at a small wooden apartment block in Cruz Lane off Bodden Road, George Town, this morning (Saturday 2 November). The police said that one man has now been arrested on suspicion of arson in connection with the fire and remains in police custody. The fire was started around 8am, police said. No one was injured during the blaze, which crews tackled following a report to the 911 Emergency Call Centre at around 8:15am, and the fire was put out by around 9:30am.
