Morning minor quake wakes up Grand Cayman
(CNS): One or two people in Grand Cayman were shaken out of bed this morning when the earth was moving a little on Wednesday. According to the United States Geological Survey a small earthquake registering a 4.2-magnitude eon the Richter scale struck at around 6:55am today south of George Town. The epicentre of the tremor was about 39 miles south of the capital and about 44 miles south of West Bay some 10 kilometres deep (18.720°N 81.416°W .) CNS has received no reports of any damage and so far only a handful of people reported feeling the shake over breakfast.

The earth didn't move for me.
God is warning the tall white sinners with this earthquake. He says less alcohol, less parties, less arrogance and more respect.
As a homosexual I am glad to find out that this natural event was not my fault for once.
11.08..sadly the thumbs downers indiciate that there are those here that think you are. We have it all here, xenophobia, homophobia, nepotism racism, corruption, appalling local schools and politicians, failing justice system, crazy drivers, a dump no-one wants but we all need. My bed shakes 2-3 times per week…
Oh well… Guess some people's bed only shakes if there is an earthquake…

Felt it in West Bay. It was just like a bed shake. Had me wondering. Good wake up.
I was awake in bed and felt it in Snug harbour for a second. Was waiting for more and then thought possible Sunami alert.
The phenomenon was timely and helpful in getting our sleepy daughter out of bed and actually to school on time today!
I thought it was my mother in law falling out her bed.
I felt it in WB. Fleeting it was.
