Anglin killed Bise, jury finds
(CNS): Ten women and two men took just under three hours to convict 34-year-old Chad Anglin of the murder of Swiss banker, Fredrick Bise. Anglin remained impassive as he stood in the dock when the foreman read the jury's guilty verdict Tuesday. The West Bay man was then handed a mandatory life sentence by the presiding judge, Justice Alex Henderson. Bise's body was found in the back of his own burned out SUV in the Mount Pleasant area of West Bay in February 2008, and despite Anglin's arrest in the immediate wake of the killing, it was not until 2013 that he along with another West Bay man, who will betried later this year, were charged. Anglin's defence team said they were unable to comment on any potential appeal until they had taken a closer look at the case.
There were no family or friends in the court of either the victim or the defendantwhen the verdict on the Cold Case Unit's first case was delivered, some six years after the killing, which the prosecution presented as a likely hate crime.
Anglin, who was already serving a five year sentence for a violent sexual attack on a woman, was charged with the murder last year following the re-opening of the case by the new specialist unit formed in 2010.

After all this is the Result we get when we allow children especially young boys to
sit and watch week after week , so many voilent agggressive Movies on the Television
But wonder later how these young minds could be obsessed with HURTING and KILLING another Hman Bieng?
Until we are parents STOP and realise it is not " Just a movie " your children is watching we will continue to develop these kind of young men …
So very sad that as a Taxpayer look at the Criminal Minds we have to pay to house, cloth and feed at Northward Prison .
Parents step up your Game . No it is " Not just what happens in real life" to sit with your child and watch movies with your child hating, shooting, cursing out another human being ( be he the bad guy that is getting killed or not)
Statistics prove that for each hour of Voilence that a child watches on tv , the higher the probability that he/she too will commit the same acts against anothr human being .

Ago. He is a sick and perverted guy who have no regards for life. It is a pity that the death sentence has been abolished persons like him deserves the GALLOS. I hope that he sit and think of getting help whilst in prison.
That old "saying nothing in defence" defence. It didn't work, again. Sometimes I think it is done when the defence think they have grounds for an appeal at the end of the prosecution evidence and that saying anything could make the appeal less likely.
Can the "new specialist unit" also consider the case of "Carter's" murder as a "hate crime also?
I remember the Police reporting that case was NOT a hate crime, while at the same time also reporting that "investigations were ongoing"?

So why could this not be achieved during the first investigation?
