(CNS): A 52 year old female resident from Canada, accused of stealing more than $2million from an elderly resident, who is scheduled to face the courts in January of next year has changed her legal team. Michelle Bouchard, who has pleaded not guilty to the massive fraud, had been due to stand trial next month but that date was changed at the defence's request to facilitate her then lead counsel. However, Bouchard has swapped her legal representation and hasnow instructed Anthony Akiwumi but the crown made it clear lastweek that it won't allow any further changes to the trial in what is expected to be a complicated case.
