FCO post-grad scholarship up for grabs
(CNS): Local graduates are being invited to apply for a Chevening Scholarship which is awarded by the FCO to outstanding leaders to pursue post graduate learning. The programme is a global scholarship programme managed by the British government and funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. The Scholarships are awarded to what are described as “outstanding established or emerging leaders” and the money covers a one-year Master’s degree in any subject and at any of the UK’s leading universities. It also covers tailor-made short courses.
Chevening Scholarships operate in more than 150 countries and territories worldwide, and this year the programme is expected to finance over 1500 individuals around the world. For more details contact Secretariat International Liaison Officer, Jocelyn Smith on 244 2431 or Gary Benham on 244 2425.
