(CNS): On Saturday night in front of a crowd of his fellow Brackers, Andrew Frederick learned that he had been chosen to represent the Cayman Islands at the CARIFTA games in St. Lucia over the Easter week. As he accepted the award at the Sports Asociation of the Sister Islands Annual Banquet for the Track and Field Athlete of the Year, T&F Brac Coach Flynn Bush announced that 15-year-old Frederick would be competing in the Under-17 Discus and Shot Put events, and will be the first thrower and third track athlete from Cayman Brac to be entered into CARIFTA.
