I dont think this is a schocker to many because we see it all around us but yet we dont report it. Its sad that many youth are getting into drugs and other sort of bad behavior but its the parents fault.

I dont know why police just dont lock them up and make them see what would their future be like if they continue to use drugs. They just need to scare them and maybe they would change their view about life.

Life is not a game and they need to realize that.

I think in the case where these children belong to work permit holders, the family should be ordered to leave the Island. In case where the kids belong to local people, the parents should also be held responsible by having to pay a hefty fine and be warned that gov could take over custody of the child (but that may not be any better either).

But denying work permit renewals to expatriates or revoking a permission for a dependant to remain in the Islands in these circumstances would require someone to enforce the Immigration Law.

I find it starnge that people appear to be shocked by this article. While it is upsetting it really isnt a shocker. The Eagle House branch of Northward Prison was established for teenage criminals…There are many young men who have gone through there for drugs, theift ect. It is a crying shame that the older generation use these children for illegal activities, but it is also true that they do. If the "big" criminals were caught there would be less people out there involving children.

" Police also stated that a 15-year-old was arrested for suspicion of driving without a licence"

If they are 15 and driving surely they are guilty? Or are our Police really that bad that they can’t remember the legal age for driving?

what is cayman coming to this is all a shame that we have children using or selling drugs  watever you want to say i think the government should get a law inforced that the parents get fined for these kinds of things because they are responsible they should know where there children are and what they are doing at all times

How come names are not posted with the arrest records?

13, 15, & 16 — they are getting younger and their parents must be so proud!

does it matter about the names really?!

people in the Cayman Island today are getting out of hand including the children! I am sure already they are ashamed by just getting caught by the poliece and having this posted up….. crime has gotten worst and people take alot of things for joke but when you really look at it there’s always a story to the end of what a person has done wrong or good! but news can’t catch right in Cayman now can it!?! people always down grade the negative never the good, but we all still live on and such is life we just have to believe in the God and he will bring us through no matter what sitution is…

Are you kidding me?  If this kid is thirteen his parents should be help responsible (along with him).   How can  you be so blind to not know your kid hangs out with the wrong crowd?
