Holiday season will bring fraudsters, cops warn
(CNS): The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) is warning the local business community, as well as the public at large, to be vigilant when it comes to fraudsters in the run up to Christmas. Police said that officers from the West Bay Police Station, along with representatives from the RCIPS Financial Crimes Unit (FCU), will be holding a Fraud Prevention presentation on Tuesday 8 December to offer advice on how to beat the con men. The special meeting will take place at the John A. Cumber Primary School, West Bay, 6:30pm – 8pm all are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Anyone with information about crime taking place in the Cayman Islands should contact their local police station or Crime Stoppers on 800-8477 (TIPS). All persons calling Crime Stoppers remain anonymous, and are eligible for a reward of up to $1000, shouldtheir information lead to an arrest or recovery of property/drugs.

Continue to watch those persons who visit your business place and spend all day drinking one beer or talking to your staff. Come in and order one french fry and a coke. Watch them.
Security guards need to payclose attention to persons leaving restaurants who are in positions of being robbed. If I get robbed leaving a restaurant I will think twice before going back there. Be careful who you employ, because many robberies which cannot be solved, has inside assistance. You have much to know. Immigration need to be very careful about visitors this time of year. Some young teen age children come to the island on vacation and do nothing all day beside steal from peoples home. Those who sees it and feels it knows it. Bye
