Guard rails are seriously needed in that area and also across the road.  Speed bumps can be installed there, as too many people are seen speeding in that area and on the round about by Cost-U-Less.

I am heard a rumour that it was the RCIPS helicopter search light which caused the car to flip when it blinded the driver of the car!! Any truth to this CNS?! If so it will be another feather to add to the cap of the Police force… If they’re not running over cyslists in George Town they have other ways to keep themselves busy!

  4. cant say anymore says:

check the cheap road structer of that bypass and you will know that its needs some pitches to it also some roughness added to it. it is just too smooth and built too cheap for a bypass

an audit needs to be done on the construction of this road…….. won’t make good reading for arden mclean though……

  5. Slip n' slide. says:

It wouldnt surprise me if it was on the round about before the ritz heading north. Recently and on different occasions I have seen cars facing the wrong direction on that round about… because they had lost control and spun out. It is an extreamly slick surface especially when it is wet.

      slow down u morons!!!!!

      • Actually says:

Unfortunately it is not always people who are speeding when going around that roundabout when it’s wet.  I’ve seen so many people lose control of their cars there, I evenhad a slide and I wasn’t even going very fast.  A very, very scary roundabout to navigate when it’s even slightly wet.

if drivers are losing control they are going too fast

you should always drive with reference to the prevailing condition, not the maximum speed limit

doh, sorry i forgot this is Cayman…

did they really need to deploy the police helicopter for a car crash to light up the area?  Glad no one was seriously hurt.
