Techy zone gets career development office
(CNS Business): Government made a further change to the immigration law on Wednesday in order to create a new career development bureau inside special economic zones. Designed to accommodate the proposed Cayman Enterprise City, which promises a new string to the local economy with the development of technical, science and media based business, the bureau will be the point of recruitment for the zone. The premier told the Legislative Assembly that the law will help to ensure that qualified Caymanians will also be employed in the businesses that the developers have promised to bring and open up new opportunities for training and career development for local people.
