Two arrested following Friday night brawl

(CNS): One man is in hospital and two are in police custody following an incident outside a George Town bar on Friday night. Police said that officers attended a report of an assault at Singh's Roti shop on Shedden Road at around 10:30pm last night. When the police arrived at the scene they discovered that threemen were involved in the brawl in which two of them had sustained head and facial injuries. Both men were taken to the Cayman Islands Hospital, where one of them remains with injuries that are not believed to be life threatening. The second man was treated and released in the custody of the police and he remains in police custody along with the third man involved in the assault.

Police did not say if any weapons were involved in the assault but asked anyone with any information to contact the George Town Police Station at 9494222 or crime stoppers at 800-TIPS (8477), as enquires into the matter continue.
