Shots fired in West Bay
(CNS): Two men from West Bay have been arrested over the suspected possession of an unlicensed gun after shots were fired in the district Wednesday afternoon. Police said they are now investigating the incident after responding to a report in the district at around 3pm. A report was received by the 911 Emergency Call Centre that gunshots had been heard in the Watercourse Road area. Police officers attended the scene, where they discovered spent shells on the road, but no one was injured as a result of the incident. A search of the surrounding areas by Uniform/USG and Air Support was carried out and two men, one aged 34 and one aged 28, were detained at a private residence shortly after.
"Both men were subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession of an unlicensed firearm," a police spokesperson said.

Self proclaimed "gangstas" shooting at other "gangstas". I think the best thing RCIPs could do is give them some lessons to improve their aim.
Cayman Crime Cycle spins its wheel and Statistics is the science of producing unreliable facts from reliable figures and there are two types of statistics 1. the kind you look up and 2 .the kind you make up the RCIPS more than often appear to be using the latter. Crime is down 13% is mostly do to certain circumstances and not largely do to them alone as some of the lords of law and order at the RCIPS would like us to believe. You can prove anything with Statistics accept the truth.
Quick work by air and ground units to nip this in the bud as it could well have led to the tit for tat killings experienced last year. Well done the RCIPS.
