| 21/09/2013

(CNS) Like many charities the Cayman Islands Crisis Centre is dependent on community donations no matter the size and a recent cheque from Roatary Sunrise will help the centre provide much needed risk assessments, individual and group counseling, as well as parenting support and workshops for their clients who are struggling to escape from violence. Without the Crisis Centre they may not have another place to go and to provide the services that help clients make a healthy transition to a life free from violence they need funds for the programmes as well as the shelter itself which provides temporary safe haven for women and children who seek to create new violence-free lives.

Rotary donated CI$1,000 and Finley Josephs, said, “These funds will help with immediate needs for the Centre but Rotary Sunrise has plans to support with an additional project that will be revealed soon”.
