Triple car smash mashes up popular restaurant

| 11/03/2014

(CNS): Guests at Coconut Joes restaurant on the West Bay Road in the heart of Grand Cayman’s tourist district had their evening rudely interrupted Sunday when a 3- car smash up piled over onto the restaurant patio at around 7pm. One driver was arrested for driving under the influence and another was taken to hospital, police said. No customers in the restaurant were hurt but the restaurant sign was damaged by a Chevy Tahoe involved in the collision. News of the crash comes in the wake of recent statistics from the RCIPS indicating there were more than 1,200 crashes in Cayman last year and 211 people were arrested for drunk driving. 12.29..excellent..you can just sum it up now with the word "racist pigs". Covers most of the ones you write about..

Yep, driving on Sunday afternoons/evenings is a real lottery…after their big champagne fueled brunches, the hoi poloi goes to its favourite bars at Royal Plams or similar, drink till they fall over, and cos they can't walk..drive home…brilliant…

The term you are trying to use is actually 'hoi polloi' and it means 'the many', therefore the use of 'the' as in 'the hoi poloi' (sic) is superfluous. An education is a wonderful thing, try getting one before making inane comments.

I will, as long as you get a sense of humour and stop taking yourself so seriously, 'cos damn, no one else does. Education is great unless common sense is absent, that would seem to be where you are qualified to judge.

Sense of humour? So you think it is appropriate tojoke about drunken driving and car crashes? Nice.

Is this the same black Tahoe that crashed into three parked cars at Queen's Court in July…? I can't see the licence plate on this one but it looks very similar.
