Police seek witnesses to George Town smash

| 02/03/2013

(CNS): Four people were taken to hospital on Saturday morning at around 10am following a smash between two vehicles at the junction of Shedden Road, North Sound Way and Thomas Russell Way. Police are asking anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the crash to call the police to assist with their investigation into the collision. A police spokesperson said the roadway was blocked for approximately one hour and the RCIPS would like to thank road users in that area for their patience.

The four people who were taken to the George Town hospital sustained non-life threatening injuries, the police said. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to call 949 4222 or any of the police stations.

Meanwhile, in a second report of a road smash, a woman was said to have escaped serious injury when she crawled from her vehicle which overturned on the Esterley Tibbetts Highway at lunchtime Saturday.

Get your info from the CCTV's.  It goes to show they are not working , if you need the public's help.  That is why they were installed, use them.
