Driver critical after single car smash
(CNS): A 22-year-old man is in a critical condition in the Cayman Islands Hospital with serious face injuries following a single vehicle smash on the Esterly Tibbetts Highway Friday night. Police said the emergency services were called to the scene of the crash near to the Strand shopping plaza at around 10:15pm on Friday 30 August. The collision occurred when the Honda CRV vehicle hit a concrete block. The driver was found unconscious at the crash site but breathing. Anyone with information is asked to please call any of the police stations or 949-7777.

Some weeks ago I recall people changing atyre on a vehicle in the same area. If I recall correctly they were using a block. I hope they did not leave it there.
When they say “concrete block” they mean the concrete barriers that are put together
