(CNS): Local telecommunication firm LIME (Formerly Cable & Wireless) is setting out to win new customers across the Caribbean with a Christmas promotion that promises to make one a millionaire. The newly revamped firm also said there were hundreds of other prizes up for grabs in weekly draws.

Prizes it said include plasma TVs, computers, digital cameras, Blackberries, Ipaq phones, Sony Playstations and lots more. To enter the weekly draws customers can sign-up for a new service or upgrade an existing service, pay their bill in full and on time, text  “Win” to LIME (5463) ($1 per text) or top-up $20 or more.  Additionally, pre-paid mobile customers topping up $20 or more can all have a chance to win credit up to $200 instantly!

Each weekly winner who has successfully completed a skills test question will be entered into the grand prize draw for US$1 million dollars, the firm promised stating that customers’ accounts must be up-to-date to qualify. Winners from each weekly draw across the 13 islands in which LIME operates will be entered into the grand prize draw for $1Million dollars.  The Big Prize Draw will be held 9 January here in the Cayman Islands.

“This simple, straightforward approach typifies the sort of company we are becoming,” said Cayman Islands Country Manager Tony Ritch. “With LIME our customers come first. Everything we do is geared towards delivering the best service and superb deals. We love our customers and this is our way of saying thanks for their continued support.”

The firm is also pushing its monthly computer purchase plan where customers can buy a new HP laptop or desktop with a monthly payment plan over four months which is added to a regular telephone bill.

“This is just the beginning,” Ritch added. “There is lots more to come from LIME.   The key message we want to emphasize is that our 2008 Christmas campaign is about giving back to our valued customers. It’s about showing our appreciation for our customers’ continued loyalty and faith in us. Most of all, it signals our intention to adopt a completely new and fresh approach in order to deliver a vastly superior and satisfying service to our customers.”
